JN Tata Endowment - for the Higher Education of Indians    The J.N. Tata Endowment was set up in 1892 by the Founder of the Tata group, Jamsetji N. Tata, to encourage young people to avail of higher studies at some of the best universities in the world. It is the first Tata benefaction in the field of education, and possibly, the first of its kind, anywhere. For the past 118 years the Endowment has been helping scholars of merit to fulfill their aspirations of a world class education through its loan scholarship programs.

The J. N. Tata Endowment Scholarships (JNTE) 2011–2012. The Scholarship Program Inherent flexibility and transparency in the selection process define the uniqueness of the J.N.Tata Endowment Scholarship Program.  The scholarships are open to: » All Indian nationals irrespective of caste, creed, community, socio-economic background, gender and geographical location. 

Ramanujan Fellowships

T h e fell o ws h i p s are scie n tist-specific and very selective. The Ramanujan Fellows could work in any of the scientific institutio n s and universities in the country a n d t h ey w ou ld b e eli g i b le f o r recei v i n g re gu lar research g ra n ts t h r oug h t h e e x tra m u ral f und i n g sc h e m es o f v ari ou s S&T agencies of the Government of India.

JC BOSE National Fellowship

Department of Science & Technology  JC  BOSE NATIONAL FELLOWSHIPS N o m inations are invited for the   JC Bose National Fellowships,   newly instituted by the Govern m e nt of India. The fellowship is m eant to recognize active scientists and engi n eers for their outstanding perfor m ance and contributions. The Depart m e nt  of  Science  &  Technology  will  ad m inister  this   sche m e.   The  fellowships  are  scientist–specific  and  very selective.
