HRD will sell form by 28th Aug of STET , Bihar

Human Resource Department is going to sell Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) form by 28th of August for Secondary and Higher Secondary .

on Thursday, the decision was taken in  the meeting officers of District Education . The Head Secretary  Anjani Kumar Singh told reporter that, form will be available by last week of August or, from 1st week of September.

All the Selection will be made on the Basis of the Examination of TET Pattern.

Exams will be conducted by BSEB (Bihar State Education Board). for Regular Updates keep intact with SCHOLARS CLUB (www.scholarsclub.co.in)

Minimum Eligibility for apply for STET – Candidate should be graduate from any recognized university.

Pattern of STET – Candidate have to give exam of two paper. First paper will be common for all candidates. Second paper will be from optional subject (from which subject candidate has passed graduation/ post graduation or for which subject candidate wants to be teacher).

For example – If you are graduate with History Honors then you can choose History for option subject. If you are graduate with History Honors and want to be a teacher for Geography subject then you can choose Geography subject as optional subject.

STET will be taken by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).


Approx 55,000 candidates will be appointed as teacher in secondary and higher secondary schools in Bihar after STET.
