ONLY FOR INDIANS: HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

reveal evidence of Bermuda Triangle,

Computer studies of ocean floors around the world, particularly the area known as The Bermuda Triangle, reveal evidence of massive methane explosions in the past.  For years, believers in the paranormal, aliens, and other outlandish theories pointed to the the disappearance of ships and aircraft as an indicator of mysterious forces at work in the “Devil’s triangle.”  Scientists have finally pointed the rest of us to a more plausible cause. The presence of methane hydrates indicates enormous eruptions of methane bubbles that would swamp a ship, and projected high into the air- take out flying airplanes, as well.  Any ships caught within the methane mega-bubble immediately lose all buoyancy and sink to the bottom of the ocean.  If the bubbles are big enough and possess a high enough density they can also knock aircraft out of the sky with little or no warning.  Aircraft falling victim to these methane bubbles will lose their engines-perhaps ...

seventh and final installment of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.

Daniel Radcliffe has stated his concerns that fans could be frustrated at the staggered release of the seventh and final installment of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. The second part is set to be released 15th July next year, six months after the first movie. Radcliffe said 'It's going to be frustrating for the fans but not everybody would be willing to sit through a six-hour film'. 'I'm not sure where the split will be but if it stays as it is now, it's a real tense cliffhanger moment'. Hmm, here at Geeky Girl HQ we've had a few guesses at where the first movie will end.  Traditionally the movies have ended with a death or arrival so it will be great to see a cliffhanger ending. We'd love to know your thoughts about where the split will be! You won't have to wait too long for Part One, release dates 19th November 2010.  FREE Subscribe to SCHOLARS CLUB ==> If you liked this post, then why not buy me a bee...

IITs may take credit for being the finest technical institutions in the country but Vice President Hamid Ansari today rued that they are yet to be recognised among the 100 best institutes world-wide. He said the institutes fare poorly in terms of international grading of academic output based on publication, patents applied for and granted and faculty citation. "No Indian university, not even an IIT, figures in the top 100 of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute's academic ranking of world universities or in top 100 of the 2009 Times Higher Education world university rankings," he said while delivering an address at the 41st convocation of IIT-Delhi.  He also expressed concern over IIT passouts gradually shying away from research work saying, "Less than 15 per cent of those graduating from IITs move towards teaching or research, whether in India or abroad." "We need in the first place to focus on accessible learning, affordable learning, and ap...
