About the initiative:
Skills Dialogue is an initiative started by TimesJobs.com in December 2010, in collaboration with The Economic Times, after our research showed that 40-70% industry was struggling with skills gaps in the employable workforce. The BPO industry was chosen as the first target sector and three CXO forums have been held in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad between December 2010 and March 2011. The Inaugural session was held in Delhi on 10 Dec 2010 while the 2nd session had addressed the concerns of the Western region in Mumbai and was held on 18 Feb 2011. The 3rd session was held on 18th March in Hyderabad and now we are gearing up for the Annual Skills Summit on Friday, 27 May 2011.
Participants till date included industry leaders from NASSCOM, NSDC, Accenture, Wipro BPO, HSBC Service Delivery, Firstsource Solutions, EXL Service, Hays Business Solutions, Quatrro BPO Solutions, HCL Technologies, Vertex, Aegis Global Academy, 24/7 Customer, Apollo Health Street, ADP Solutions, GENPACT to name a few.
The topics of discussion which were centre-stage since the first edition are as below for your ref:
