India's Hospitality, Meals and Drinks, Entertainment and History on a flight with Lufthansa

#MoreIndianThanYouThink Yes, definitely, India possess special and unique habits, customs, lifestyles, cultures, which are being always pomped differently from rest of the nations. We Indians can be easily lifted up by the sound of "foods, cricket, end-of-season sale", no matter how much sad or grumpy we are at the moment. Nevertheless, for my nation, Indians with business stakes in the US, or anything incorporating the government, whole issues are always being resolved and clarified. Indians are trend settlers globally, being this success driven and being a proud people who stops at nothing. And yes, there is so much for the people to covet our culture when there is lots of reason to drop of being among them. People across the globe are inspired by the stories regarding Indians dispersing into the corners of the world with only their smartness with them and thus, conquering heights of success despite all odds. Indians are a sculpture of perseverance and pride...

Ramesh Raskar’s inexpensive screening device diagnoses cataracts in minutes

‘Radar for the human eye’ Inexpensive hand-held device developed at MIT could detect cataracts even at the earliest stages. Cataracts are the leading cause of preventable blindness worldwide. But the standard test to detect the cloudy patches in the eye’s lens requires a $5,000 piece of equipment called a slit lamp, and a trained physician to interpret its results — two things that are often not available in rural and less-affluent parts of the world. But a team of MIT researchers has now developed a simple device that can clip onto an ordinary smartphone (or smart device such as an iPod) and provide a diagnosis of cataracts within a few minutes. Ramesh Raskar, the NEC Career Development Associate Professor of Computer and Communications and director of the MIT Media Lab’s Camera Culture group, says, “I like to think of this as a radar for the human eye.” Just as a weather radar beam sweeps across the sky to detect clouds, the new system — dubbed Catra — sweeps a beam of li...

Saturn's magnificent rings

Saturn rings are "back"  A year after the Saturn's magnificent rings became invisible from the Earth due to a celestial phenomenon; there is good news for skygazers as they can now see them again. The planet went through 'Ring Crossing' on 4 th September last year wherein its rings were aligned along the Earth's line of sight, making it difficult to see them. "The phenomenon occurs after every 14.7 years," R C Kapoor, a scientist at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, said. As the yellowish planet moves round the Sun, its rings, made of countless bodies ranging in size from micrometres to metres, are best seen when the planet reaches opposition when the Saturn rises just as the Sun is setting, he said. Of late, scientists said, the Saturn is tilting and favourably for viewers from the Earth.

Have the courage ….

You defeat the waves  and leave the banks much behind, And mind the persons who make houses on the bank  Does not have the courage to face oceans.  Fight if you deserve, sword is with you  But if it is kept inside sheath,  then others could attack you Just fight with the rocks,  break it into little stones  And if you have courage you would allow pheasant to fight with eagle.
