Aadhar is now Primary Identity proof

Government is preparing for making Aadhar Card as primary identity proof for opening bank account, withdrawling money from ATM and digital payment. This system can be implemented soon under Aadhar Act. Section – 57.

Bank Account - Now its mandatory

For the implementation, it will be rectify in PMLA. Chief Ministers Council constituted by Niti Ayog is also agreed for making Aadhar as primary Id.

• Someone who don’t have pin code generated by Aadhar with bank account until He won’t be able to transfer his money at any condition.

• Mobile numbers will be included also.

• It will be mandatory to link all bank accounts to Adhar with mobile number. For completing this process One Time Password (OTP) will be used.
