Laloo, Jayalalitha, and Mayavati were on a long flight in an Air Force plane

A Long Flight Laloo, Jayalalitha, and Mayavati were on a long flight in an Air Force plane. Laloo pulls out a 100 Rupee note and says, "I'm going to throw this Rs.100 note out and make someone down below happy." Jayalalitha, not wanting to be outdone, says, "If that was my 100 Rupee note, I would split it into two Rs.50 notes, throw them down and make two people down below happy." Of course Mayavati doesn't want these two candidates to out do her so she pipes in, 'I would instead take one hundred Rs.1 notes and throw them out to make 100 people just a little happier. At this point the pilot, who has overheard all this bragging and can't stand it anymore, comes out and says, "If I throw all three of you out of this plane and I'll make 975 million people happy!" This was  a Joke only..... Don't take it serious....

Convert Cellphone in to a Projector : A Simple method

New chip can turn your cell phone into a projector Imagine giving a presentation that is projected on a conference room wall via your cell phone! Such a technology may be on its way, thanks to a new light-bending silicon chip developed by researchers.  The light-bending silicon chip from at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) researchers acts as a lens-free projector and could one day end up in your cell phone. The new chip uses integrated optical phased array (OPA) to project the image electronically with only a single laser diode as light source and no mechanically moving parts.  Ali Hajimiri and his colleagues were able to bypass traditional optics by manipulating the coherence of light - a property that allows the researchers to "bend" the light waves on the surface of the chip without lenses or the use of any mechanical movement.

Sit in Sunlight and make Blood Pressure Normal and cut the risk of heart attack and stroke

Sunlight may help lower blood pressure Exposing skin to sunlight may help lower blood pressure and cut the risk of heart attack and stroke, a new study has found. Research carried out at the Universities of Southampton and Edinburgh found that sunlight a lters levels of the small messenger molecule, nitric oxide (NO) in the skin and blood, reducing blood pressure . "NO along with its breakdown products, known to be abundant in skin, is involved in the regulation of blood pressure," said Martin Feelisch, Professor of Experimental Medicine and Integrative Biology at the University of Southampton. "When exposed to sunlight , small amounts of NO are transferred from the skin to the circulation, lowering blood vessel tone; as blood pressure drops, so does the risk of heart attack and stroke," Feelisch said. While limiting sunlight exposure is important to prevent skin cancer, the authors of the study, including Dr Richard Weller of the Universi...

IRNSS 1B : Second Navigation Satellite of India

India on Friday successfully launched its second navigational satellite IRNSS 1B onboard PSLV-C24 from this spaceport. Indian Space Research Organisation's workhorse Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C24 placed the IRNSS IB in precise orbit about 19 minutes after a perfect lift-off at 5.14 pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. "PSLV, in its 25th successive successful flight, injected IRNSS-1B very precisely. I thank the entire ISRO team that made this major milestone for the country, thus proving again that India's PSLV has a place of pride," a beaming ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan announced. The 1,432 kg satellite would form part of the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS), an equivalent to Global Positioning System of the US. The IRNSS 1B is the second of the seven navigational satellite planned by India under the Rs 1,420 crore IRNSS programme.
